Tips On Travelling Abroad With Disposable Vapes
You want to find out about using your disposable vapes overseas, right? We have everything you need to know this in this article. We’re looking forward to Summer 2022 now that the Covid-19 travel restrictions have been lifted. If you’re planning on flying, we’ve put together a handy reference that will remind you of the restrictions for travelling with an e-cigarette.
Can I take my vape pen on a plane?
Yes. In fact, you should always pack your e-cigarette in your carry-on luggage when flying. E-cigarettes use lithium ion batteries, which can catch fire if broken, and are required to be carried in airline cabins at all times.
What are the Main Airline Policies for Vaping?
Vaping on British Airways
Electronic cigarettes should be kept in your carry-on luggage (not checked luggage) and kept safe against inadvertent activation. If there are any liquid components, you must also adhere to the liquid safety regulations.
E-cigarettes and related devices are not permitted on board.
E-liquid refills can be brought in checked or carry-on luggage, but different airlines may have different restrictions, so it’s important to double-check before flying. E-liquids must be under 100mL and packed in a clear plastic bag with other liquids if they are to be transported in hand luggage. E-liquids should be put in plastic bags, whether in carry-on or checked baggage, because fluctuations in cabin pressure can cause them to leak. As a result, before travelling, you should totally empty your e-cigarette tank.
Vaping on EasyJet
E-cigarettes and a maximum of two replacement batteries are allowed in the cabin bag, but not in the hold.
On the plane, you are not permitted to smoke any form of cigarette.
Vaping on Emirates
E-cigarettes are not permitted in checked luggage.
To avoid inadvertent activation, batteries must be protected.
All Emirates flights are smoke-free, including the use of electronic cigarettes.
Vaping on Jet2
Passengers are required to bring e-cigarettes in the cabin/hand luggage, not in their checked baggage, due to safety restrictions.
The usage of e-cigarettes is prohibited during the flight.
Vaping on Virgin Atlantic
You are permitted to bring electronic cigarettes on board, but you are not permitted to smoke them.

Can I vape at the airport?
Vaping is also prohibited at most U.K. airports. Travelers at Gatwick, Heathrow, and Manchester airports are permitted to vape in designated smoking areas outside the terminals, but not within. This is the most typical airport vaping regulation, but it’s always a good idea to double-check before your travel.
What is Vaping Etiquette like Internationally?
Vaping is much less common in some countries than in the U.K. It is best to always check the laws of your destination when travelling with an e-cigarette. In Thailand and Singapore, vaping is banned completely. In Malaysia and South Africa, it is only allowed with nicotine-free e-liquids.
How do I buy Vape Juice and Refills Abroad?
If you plan to continue using an e-cigarette on holiday, make sure you have enough refills for your trip. In European countries, it is often best to look for e-liquid refills at licensed tobacconist stores. Be wary of e-liquids with nicotine strengths higher than you are used to.
